When is the best time to hire a postpartum doula?

It's a good idea to start looking for a doula as during the first trimester of pregnancy. We often book up 3-6 months in advance. If you’re further along in your pregnancy or have already given birth, we may still have some availability! It’s worth reaching out via our contact form.

How do I hire Liberty or Emma as my doula?

You’re ready to hire a postpartum doula- that’s great! Start by filling out our contact form. We will then reach out to you about setting a time to talk. Based on availability, either doula will connect and if all parties decide to move further, you will receive a contract to sign. Once your contract is received and a 30% retainer is collected (which will be applied to the final 30% of the contract) you’re all set.

Do you work outside of San Francisco?

We usually work in the city of San Francisco, however we are happy to talk with families outside the city. Additional fees are included in the contract if:

• There is a bridge toll

• The drive is 10 miles or more away from the 94129 zip code

Do you only work nights?

Emma primarily works nights and Liberty is open to days or nights, depending on the family and their needs.

How long does postpartum doula support last?

The duration of postpartum doula support varies based on each family's needs. It can range from a few weeks to a few months. The length of the contract depends on your needs and our availability.
